Support Regional Public Transit Across Massachusetts

Massachusetts needs strong, statewide public transportation. Regional public transit is essential for mobility and economic opportunity; to reduce congestion and protect our climate, air quality and health; and to encourage strong and vibrant communities.

The fifteen Regional Transit Authorities, which provide public transportation outside of metro Boston, are a lifeline for many in Massachusetts who do not own cars; they serve employers whose workforce needs transit; they are essential students and educational institutions; and they are vital health and wellness.

But our RTAs have been under-funded for years. To support a transportation system that meets our modern needs, we need to do more to support the RTAs. Send a message to your legislators that you support greater investment in public transportation for improved and expanded service throughout the Commonwealth.
