Subway: Go Antibiotic-Free!
The World Health Organization warns that, “without urgent, coordinated action by many stakeholders, the world is headed for a post-antibiotic era.”
To keep antibiotics effective, we need to stop their overuse on factory farms. And the best way to do that is for the restaurants that buy their meat to call for change. We recently helped convince McDonald’s to stop selling chicken raised on our life saving medicines. And if we keep up the pressure, we could be on the cusp of an industry wide change.
That’s why we are calling on Subway, the world’s largest fast food chain, to stop buying meat from farms that overuse antibiotics. Add your voice:
